It is a well know fact that wine has crept into all areas of our lives. You can find many people beginning to understand the differences in the wines as they take wine tasting classes or attend wine tasting events. These wine tasting events can happen anywhere you will find people interested in wines. And one such place where you will find wine tasting Chicago is probably not the first place that you would associate with wines and wine tasting.
While you may wonder why the windy city would be hosting events like this the answer is very simple. Wine and people mix well together in any city on the planet. For this reason you will be able to find places for wine tasting Chicago style. Instead of going to a winery you should get ready for a night out on the town tasting the various wines that have been set up for your drinking pleasure.
At these places you are sure to find old wine favorites like Cabernet Blanc, Merlot and Chardonnay wines mixed in with wines like Rojas, Gewürztraminer, and Viognier to name but a few of the wines that you can be sure of seeing. In many cases you will find that wine tasting Chicago style means that you can have these wine events in your homes or at a hotel where you will need to book the room where the wine tasting will be held.
You can also find places that have their own version of a wine tasting Chicago is full of these such places. There are many places that will host year-round wine tasting events. This means that even if you miss one of these wine tasting parties you can always attend another one. Since in many cases you will be the new person in coming to the wine tasting Chicago is the best place for you to meet new friends and learn more about the different wines.
While this event will not be held in a vineyard you will still find that there are experts in the wine trade who can help you to understand the differences that you may experience in the wines that you will select.
Having the help of these wine experts will enable you to develop your wine tasting Chicago style. So the next time that you are invited to a Chicago wine tasting event you should accept the invitation and see what new things you an learn at this wine tasting.

You could ask that question to the people who have chosen to make this wonderful city there home, but why do that when you can visit there and find out for your self? It is called the Windy City for a reason. It really can be at times, but that has no affect on the tourists that visit there every year.
Since Chicago is a real business oriented city, it is only natural that there would be many fine hotels and restaurants to choose from. You will definitely be able to stay here in the lap of luxury if you can afford these accommodations and if you can not, then there are many more affordable choices available as well.
One of the biggest things that happen in Chicago is of course, The Oprah Winfrey Show. If you know you are going to be in Chicago, you can plan ahead of time and it is possible that you could get into to the show and be a part of a live taping. That would have to be something to remember if you did nothing else while you were there.
If talk shows are not exactly your thing, then there are hundreds of other places to go and things to see. Downtown Chicago has some of the most interesting city architecture in the country and houses some of the largest businesses anywhere, including the Sears Tower.
If you love history and archeology then you must make a trip to The Field Museum. It has exhibits from ancient civilizations up until modern times from cultures all over the world. It also has the largest and most complete tyrannosaurus rex skeleton. It has The Underground Adventure that exhibits soil and the way that life is sustained from it.
Millennium Park is a new addition to Chicago and is a wonderful place for family fun. It has many indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy, including ice skating in the winter months. You can also see the Bean, which is a huge silver metallic sculpture. They have musical events there and some of the best public art in the city. You and your family will not want to miss the opportunity to visit this establishment. Chicago has many museums to see that will be interesting to almost anyone.
If you do not like the really snowy frigid climate, then it might be best to ,make your visit to Chicago in the warm weather months, but if the cold does not bother you, then wintertime might do for you just as well. Either way you are sure to enjoy your stay in this magnificent city.

The Chicago Academy of Design was born on Dearborn Street in 1863. The intention of the 35 artists who founded it was to run a free school with it’s own gallery. The Academy was granted a charter in 1867 and classes commenced in 1868 meeting daily at a cost of ten dollars a month. Initially the Academy was successful enough to build it’s own five story building. Made of stone and located at 66 West Adams Street the new location opened on November 22, 1870. Sadly, in 1871 the Great Fire of Chicago destroyed the Academy building and threw the endeavor into financial crisis. The Academy struggled on in rented quarters but failed in spite of best efforts. Bankruptcy occurred in 1879 and the members then formed the Chicago Academy of Fine arts and bought the assets of the Academy at auction. In 1882 the name was changed to the Art Institute of Chicago. Today the Art Institute is a world recognized school of fine arts and museum. The offerings include one of the world’s best collections of impressionist and post impressionist paintings. American classic works such as Grant Wood’s American Gothic are on display here. Many exhibits will appeal to children’s fertile imaginations. There is an impressive collection of masks, shields, and spears. Miniature homes from modern architecture and examples dating to the 13th century. Games and other hands on activities for children are found at the Kraft Education Center and there is even a nursing area in the women’s room on the lower level. There is a cafe, aptly named The Cafe, and The Garden Restaurant on site. The Cafe is self service with a grill, carving station, salad, and pizza. The Garden Restaurant offers a full menu and bar with a wine list. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day The Garden Restaurant offers free live music from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The exhibits begin outside with the famous Bronze Lions guarding the West Entrance on Michigan Avenue. In the event that a Chicago sports team makes the playoffs the lions may be festooned with the team’s uniform. Inside the East Entrance is a reconstruction of the trading room from the old Chicago Stock Exchange made using salvage from the original. Normal admission fees are twelve dollars for adults and seven for seniors and students. During the summer season Thursday and Friday evenings offer free admission. Discount packages are available at local hotels. With over 40 centuries of art and artifacts on display, a superb downtown location. and exhibits and amenities for all the The Art Institute of Chicago Museum needs to be on every art lovers list of places to see.

One of the cities that contain all the facility in United States is Chicago. It is called as the windy city. In fact it is the land mark of United States. We can even call that city as the best city of United States though the other cities are also well developed with many facilities. So, one must necessarily capture all the places that we visit there. This will remain as a life long memory for us. Just imagine how nice it would be to see such beautiful areas in photos.Photography is the first thing that comes to our mind when we go on for a tour that too Chicago is a beautiful place. Who ever goes there would like to take photographs. Chicago has many wonderful places which one must not miss to visit and enjoy. The buildings and structure over there are very different and are unique in the way they are build. These things are to be definitely photographed. Photography is an art. It needs some creativity in order to take quality pictures. If a person is very much good in taking photographs then it is well and good. Even others can take photos. But in order to increase the beauty of the place it needs some extra efforts. Each and every place in Chicago will be excellent. Some of the places are Statue of Great Lake, Chicago Museum, Chicago River, Lakeshore, etc are the few places. The view of the lake at the dawn and dusk will be very beautiful. And at night times the view of the river will also be very beautiful. If we are good enough to capture these places well then we can get beautiful photos which we can see in future and show it to others and enjoy. Sometimes it pays to be a collector, especially when the items on offer are hotel loyalty points. Contrary to what you might believe and providing you choose the right scheme you can now swap such points for much more than just free accommodation at your favorite hotels.
Hit Broadway shows including Chicago, Wicked and Avenue Q, and exotic gifts such as Apple iPods, Taylor-made golf clubs, designer handbags and many more exclusive shopping items are all available by cashing in hotel loyalty points. Or, if you collect enough points there are some fantastic and exclusive vacation packages available to many popular and exotic locations. Indeed, because of the wide range of choice on how to redeem hotel loyalty points, they could even pay for next year’s Christmas gifts.
However, if you prefer to take the philanthropic approach then many schemes allow you to donate your hotel loyalty points to charitable causes. Depending upon which loyalty scheme you subscribe to there are many charities that will gladly accept your points and convert them into a cash donation, allowing you to help the less fortunate.
But, if you haven’t collected enough points for that gift that you have your heart set on, you can simply purchase the extra amount needed to top up your balance. Many schemes allow the purchase of extra points at very competitive prices, which can come in handy if you’re just a few thousand short of that ideal vacation.
To make collecting even easier you now don’t even have to stay in your preferred hotel chain to collect loyalty points. Now there are is a selection of willing retail partners who will also award hotel loyalty points when you purchase goods or services through them. And, by selecting the matched affinity credit card, you can accumulate even more points by spending on just about anything from everyday shopping to gas purchases.
Providing you can clear the balance each month, as well as regular everyday purchases, you could even consider using your affinity card for major one-off major purchases. For example, the purchase of a new vehicle would quickly rack up the points. However, it is important if you do adopt that method of spending to be sure that you can clear your balance each month, or you will quickly find that the cost of interest charges will soon wipe out any points benefit you may have earned.
But, used sensibly an affinity credit card could prove very rewarding indeed for those who frequently stay at the world’s leading hotels and are enrolled in a loyalty points scheme!
